BIOGRAPHIE DE RASTA PRESIDENTI BABA CHIHABI, LE PRESIDENT RASTA DE LA REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE VOTEZ RASTA ! Tout commence le 2 octobre 1980 dans un hôpital du onzième arrondissement de Paris à quatre heure du matin, quand vient au monde Baba Chihabi, de mère française et de père comorien. A sa naissance, ses parents remarquent qu'il ne pleure pas. Dans ses chansons, plus tard, il n'aura pas du tout tendance à pleurer mais plutôt à rire ! Né sous la bonne étoile, Baba Chihabi grandit dans la région parisienne, puis il va faire son lycée à Mayotte, l'île française des Comores, où il fera ses premiers concerts et rencontrera ses premiers amours. Il passe sur différentes télévisions aux Comores, puis retourne à Paris. Il s'ensuit des tournées dans le Lot avec les « Insulaires », en Bretagne avec les musiciens du groupe de rock tonique "The Sluggs", à Marseille avec Abou Chihabi. En 2003 il part en Angleterre.
Il y rencontrera des musiciens hors-pairs avec lesquels il enregistrera son premier album Islands On Fire. L'album sort en 2004.
Islands On Fire, Premier album En 2005 Baba visite le centre international Baha'i dans les montagnes rocheuses aux USA où il rencontre le gardien de la Foi Baha'ie. Il fera un concert accompagné des autres musiciens Baha'is de cette communauté spirituelle révolutionnaire. En 2006 Il fait une tournée à Mayotte, c'est le grand retour triomphal ! Accompagné par les musiciens de Bob Dahilou, le reggaeman incontournable de Mayotte, et ensuite par des Jazzmen. Vous pouvez trouver une vidéo de l'un de ces concerts sur ce site.
Bob Dahilou, the Mysticman En 2007 Il réalise une tournée à la Réunion, où il réside actuellement et où il prépare un album pour sa campagne électorale de 2012 : URGENT ELECTIONS. Que la trompette de Rastafari sonne sur la France et le monde !
Sa musique, un Reggae Sexy et Jazzy, dévergondé et politique, pop rock, dance et teckno, avec des paroles en français, anglais, swahili, malgache, espagnol, porte les vibrations du peuple, la conscience collective, le mouvement de la vie exprimé dans des paroles humoristiques et engagées puisqu'il est le candidat Rasta pour les élections de 2012. Une euphorie musicale. Des chansons qui tournent dans votre tête toute la journée. La meilleure et la moins chère des psychothérapies ! En 2007 Rasta President fut parmis les 4 réunionais sélectionnés pour la Finale de la Star Ac 7 à Paris grâce à la chanson "Ode à la femme fontaine" qui dévergonda le jury de la Star Ac.
Rasta President évangélise la Star Ac, juin 2007, extrait Journal de l'Ile de la Réunion Début 2008 la sortie du clip-réalité SEX IN MADAGASCAR sur le net fait fureur : elle indigne et outre les uns, ou apporte joie et bonne humeur chez les autres. RASTA PRESIDENT 'S BIOGRAPHY BABA CHIHABI, THE RASTA PRESIDENT OF THE FRENCH REPUBLIC VOTE RASTA ! Born in Paris in 1980, Baba Chihabi is a mixed young man from the Comoros Islands- East Coast of Africa and France. At his birth, his parents see that he doesn't cry. Well, In his songs, latter, he will not cry at all, but he will laugh and make the people laugh. He grew up in France in the region of Paris. At the age of 14 he is already a composer and he records his first songs, funny and committed, but his carrier really started in the Comoros Islands where he performed his first concerts in 1998, aged 17, and where he was seen on different televisions. He also lived his first love stories under the coconuts of the Comoros Islands. In 2000, the up-and-coming singer went back to France where he got real success in concert halls and festivals in Paris, in Bretagne with the musicians of the tonic Rock Band "The Sluggs", in the Lot with "Les Insulaires"and in Marseille with Abou Chihabi. He was seen also on television in New York in Manhattan TV, performing and preaching his philosophy of unity of mankind. In 2003 he went in England where he subjugated the public and the BBC.

Baba Chihabi & Bongoman Ameer in UK, Ameer is the Prime Minister In 2004 he released the Islands On Fire album. In 2005 he visits the International Baha'i Center in the Rocky Mountains (USA) and meets the Guardian of the Baha'i Faith. He also performs a concerts with the other Baha'is musicians living in the area.
In 2006 he tours in Mayotte Island with the reggae band of Bob Dahilou and then with Jazzmen. You can see the video of one of the gig there in this website.

He now lives in Reunion Island where he toured in 2007 and where he prepares another album, URGENT ELECTIONS, for his electoral campaign in 2012, to blow the Rastafari trumpet in France and the world ! His music, Sexy Jazzy Reggae, debauched and political, pop rock, dance and teckno and his lyrics in French, English, Spanish, Swahili and Malgasy is the vibration of the people, the collective conscience and movement of life expressed in humoristic songs as well as committed lyrics, as he is the Rasta candidate for the 2012 elections in France.
